Common Questions

Does the alarm ring when my iPhone is on silent?

On iOS 26 and later, yes. Rainy Clock schedules the alarm through Apple's AlarmKit, so it sounds through Silent mode and Focus and shows a full-screen alert, just like the built-in Clock app. Allow the alarm permission the first time you schedule one.

On iOS 17 through 25, the alarm is delivered as a local notification and still follows the ring/silent switch — iOS gives third-party apps no way around it on those versions. Make sure notifications are enabled and your sound settings allow notification audio.

I upgraded to iOS 26 and the alarm still follows the silent switch.

An alarm scheduled before the upgrade keeps running on the old notification path. Open the app and schedule the alarm once more — it then moves to the new system and sounds through Silent mode. The Alarm tab shows a notice while this is pending.

Why does the app need my home and work address?

The app uses your addresses to preview your commute route and check weather along that route. The app does not have a backend server and does not create an account for you.

Why is weather unavailable?

Route weather requires an internet connection and valid route addresses. The app uses Apple Weather / WeatherKit for weather data. If route or weather lookup fails, check the address, network connection, and try again.

手機轉靜音時，鬧鐘還會響嗎？

在 iOS 26 以上會。Rainy Clock 透過 Apple 的 AlarmKit 排程鬧鐘，能穿透靜音與專注模式並顯示全螢幕警示，與內建時鐘 App 相同。第一次排程時請允許鬧鐘權限。

在 iOS 17 至 25，鬧鐘以本機通知送達，仍會受靜音開關影響 —— 這些版本的 iOS 沒有提供第三方 App 任何繞過的方法。請確認通知權限已開啟，且裝置音量與通知聲音設定正常。

升級到 iOS 26 後，鬧鐘還是被靜音影響？

升級前排好的鬧鐘仍走舊的通知路徑。請打開 App 重新排程一次，鬧鐘就會轉到新機制並穿透靜音。在轉換完成前，鬧鐘頁會顯示提醒。

為什麼 App 需要住家與公司地址？

App 會使用這些地址預覽通勤路線，並查詢路線上的天氣。App 沒有後端伺服器，也不需要建立帳號。

為什麼天氣資料無法載入？

路線天氣需要網路連線與有效的路線地址。App 會使用 Apple Weather / WeatherKit 查詢天氣。如果路線或天氣查詢失敗，請確認地址與網路後再試一次。
